Daniel Floyd-[1268] 4
One account indicates that Daniel raised a family in Canada, deserted them, and started another family in Maine, and thereby had two sons named Charles Floyd.
Death of Daniel is guessed based upon a notation in the 1900 Maine census that may indicate how long Maria had been a widow. That census is evidence that he died prior to 1900. There is no death record for Daniel after 1892 when Maine began to keep such records, according to Maine researcher Glenn Poole.
