Charles Floyd-[1336] 1
According to Dene, this is the Charles FLOYD that was part of the family of Daniel FLOYD that he started in Canada. Nobody knew about (the family in Canada) until Uncle Jack Floyd was on a milk route in Compton and saw the name Charles Floyd on a mailbox and knocked on the door. When a man answered the door Jack exclaimed, "You look just like my dad!" But he and Mom decided not to bruit this 'rumor' about their grandfather around the family. (It's probably been whispered all around anyway.)" |
