Walter, age 43, was listed as having real estate valued at $1,000, born in Canada. Julia, age 37, was born in Conn. They had six children (2 boys and 4 girls) ranging in age from 17 to 8/12th years. Elihu was age 73, with real estate valued at $9,000, was born in Conn. Also listed with them was Sophia Goff, age 72, born in Conn.
It may be that Julia was the daughter of Elihu, which would mean that Elihu was probably still in Connecticut in 1837, since Julia was born in Connecticut.
