Email to Don Appleby from brother, JR, on 4 Apr 2003, "I received a letter from Dene today with Walden's birth and death date on the envelope, 9/9/38 - 4/1/03."

Also, an email to Don Appleby from Walden's cousin, Cyndy Mandell on 6 Apr 2003, "Walden died on April 1, 2003. I attended his ceremony on Sat. His wife Peggy is planning on leaving the area to live with her mom in Laguna Niguel."

Another email to Don Appleby from Cyndy M Mandell on 7 Apr 2003, "Waldon was cremated I don't know where he was interred maybe I can find out. I met a few of Waldon's children. His program card at the funeral had a listing of the names of his grandchildren, it is at home and I will get that to you later. One of the boys looked just like him and was present at the funeral he had very long silver-grey hair. Waldon died of an anuerism (sp). He had gone into a coma several time both at home and in the hospital. He died in the hospital.

On 10 Apr 2003 Cyndy Mandell wrote email to Don Appleby. "Waldron's program had the following written on the inside: Beloved Papa to Angelina ( I was told this was a god child) Megan Remington Skylar Brooke Emily New Baby"
