Robert Bruce Pollock-[1785] 1
Robert Bruce Pollock fought for Oliver Cromwell's army. When Charles II took back the throne, they (Robert's father, John, Lt. Porter, previous husband of Magdalen, and her father, Col. Tasker) immigrated first to Ireland, where they owned estates, then to Maryland in the 1680's. They were Presbyterian. Robert married Magdalen Tasker-[1786] [MRIN: 618], daughter of Col. Tasker-[1792] and Unknown. (Magdalen Tasker-[1786] was born in 1632 1 and died in 1727 1.) |
