1. Property: Pearsontown (now called Standish). 1 Some of the Louisburg veterans signed a petition requesting a township of land. The request was granted and they received the township of Pearstown, now called Standish. It's a few miles northwest of Portland.
John married Anna Hodgkins-[1884] [MRIN: 950], daughter of Philip Hodgkins-[1880] and Sarah Griffin-[1795], on 21 Apr 1750 in Falmouth.1 2 (Anna Hodgkins-[1884] was born on 2 Jun 1732 in Falmouth, Massachusetts 4 5 and died on 1 Apr 1810 in Brunswick, Cumberland, Maine 4 6.)
