 Another name for Fountain was Frank Philip Hodges Sr.
General Notes:
In Dene's account, "Grampa Hodgkins' other son, Fount (Fountain), helped the Chaffee brothers (who founded Ontario) plant the great stands of trees (Corolla oak and pepper) that line Euclid Avenue from the mountains to Chino. He married in Ontario and had four girls - but deserted them and remarried under the name of Hodges in Hawaii. One day in the early '60's he appeared here at the coach - renewing acquaintances. His progeny are living in Riverside. His first family of four girls had all moved to Washington."
Barbara Goon reported, "[w]hen I saw him soon after his return, he said his sons by his second marriage lived in San Bernardino or thereabouts."
Another source received from Erik Remington, shows that Fountain had 2 daughters by his 1st wife and 3 daughters by his 2nd wife who knew him as Frank Hodges, a name he assumed after leaving his first wife. He lived in Oregon for some time before returning to S. Calif. to reunite with the rest of his family in 1952..."
