Hot Spot

Please excuse my editorializing but...

  We have some resident students who like to study in the Clubhouse.  

They bring their computer with them hoping to "piggy back" onto a nearby neighbor's wireless Internet connection.  Most of the time it is a faint connection at best. Usually these students are very quiet, well-behaved and serious students just trying to find a close quiet place to study.

  What do you think of the Association being able to offer "free" (at no cost to the Association) wireless Internet to its residents who come to the Clubhouse, but declines to do so because its management fears that it may attract too many residents and their guests who might leave the Clubhouse in a mess?  Now that we have our new security systems and new 8-foot fence to keep out trespassers, maybe we should at least try it for a while and see if the privilege is abused.  It is a shame to let this resource go to waste.  Don Appleby
